Eastern Caribbean Securities Exchange (ECSE)

Headquartered in the island of St. Kitts, the Eastern Caribbean Securities Exchange (ECSE) is serving the islands of Anguilla, Antigua and Barbuda, Dominica, Grenada, Montserrat, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Lucia and St. Vincent, and the Grenadines. The exchange’s mission is to provide the Eastern Caribbean Currency Union with the ability to issue and trade securities, and settlements in a secure and transparent manner. The ECSE is the first fully electronic regional securities market in the entire Western Hemisphere.


BAHAMAS INTERNATIONAL SECURITIES EXCHANGE (BISX)

The Bahamas International Securities Exchange (BISX) was founded in 1999 and is located in Nassau. In May 2000 BISX successfully launched its domestic market for the listing and trading of local public companies. BISX is regulated by the Securities Commission of The Bahamas which is the statutorily created corporate entity charged with the regulation and oversight of the Securities Industry pursuant to the Securities Industry Act, 2011.


BARBADOS STOCK EXCHANGE (BSE)

The Barbados Stock Exchange (BSE) was founded as the Securities Exchange of Barbados in 1987. It was reorganized and given its current name in 2001. The BSE operates a secondary market for the trading of shares. This means that companies do not sell their shares directly to the public via the exchange. Instead, after companies have gone public and taken the decision to list; we provide a mechanism for any investor to purchase shares in the company from shareholders who are desirous of divesting their holdings.

The Barbados Stock Exchange Inc. has signed Memorandums of Cooperation (MoCs) with the: London Stock Exchange (LSE), Guyana Association of Securities Companies and Intermediaries Inc. (GASCI), Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE).


BERMUDA STOCK EXCHANGE (BSX)

Established in 1971, the Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) specializes in the listing and trading of capital market instruments including equities, debt issues, funds, hedge funds, derivative warrants, and Insurance Linked Securities (ILS). Wholly-owned subsidiary of Miami International Holdings since 2020, the BSX is a full member of the World Federation of Exchanges (WFE) and affiliate member of the International Organization of Securities Commission.


JAMAICA STOCK EXCHANGE (JSE)

Incorporated in 1968, the JSE has evolved into a group of Companies (the JSE Group) with its core business being that of listing securities, the trading of securities, settlement, and custody of securities. The JSE’s aim is to the facilitate growth and development of companies and the economy in Jamaica by allowing for “the mobilization, exchange and expansion of capital while providing a return on equity that is acceptable to our shareholders.” The JSE has been recognized internationally, by Bloomberg, as the World’s Best-Performing Stock Market for 2015 and 2018.
