ECONOMY
-The government announced the adoption of the emergency ordinance aimed at curbing budget deficit to 7% in 2025. Romania is obliged to cut its deficit to below the EU’s ceiling of 3% of GDP within seven years.
FINANCE
-Bucharest-listed Romgaz made a term deposit without auto-renewal option of RON170 million with Exim Banca Romaneasca, the natural gas producer and supplier announced.
COMPANIES
-The number of companies and authorized natural persons (PFA) that entered insolvency in the first 11 months of this year was 7,294, up 19.95% on an annual basis, when 6,081 insolvencies were registered, the National Trade Register Office (ONRC) data showed.
