-Romania’s economy grew by just 0.9% in real terms in 2024, compared to 2023, according to provisional estimates released by the National Institute of Statistics (INS) on Friday.
FINANCE
-State-owned nuclear power producer Nuclearelectrica (SNN) has published its 2025 budget of revenue and expenditure, set to be voted on at the Ordinary General Meeting of Shareholders on April 9, 2025.
– Bogdan Ciobotaru, non-executive board member of Romanian telco giant Digi Romania (DIGI), sold 38,700 shares for approximately RON 2.5 million (€500,000), as reported to the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB).
– BRK Financial Group (BVB: BRK) projects that TeraPlast Bistrița (BVB: TRP) shares will reach RON 0.46 within the next 12 months, reflecting a 10% potential upside from current levels, according to Ziarul Financiar.
COMPANIES
-OMV Petrom, Romania’s leading oil and gas producer, announced that starting 2025, it will supply sustainable aviation fuel to Avram Iancu Cluj International Airport—Romania’s largest regional airport, which served nearly 3.3 million passengers in 2024.
