FINANCE
Government Bond Auctions: The Ministry of Finance successfully raised RON 2.02 billion from banks on March 10th through two government bond auctions, with average annual yields of 6.64% and 7.39%, respectively.
State Bank Capitalization: The 2025 budget law includes proposed capital increases for state-owned banks: RON 1 billion (EUR 200 million) for CEC Bank and RON 1.25 billion (EUR 250 million) for Exim Banca Românească. These increases are subject to European Commission approval.
