COMPANIES
-TeraPlast Bistrița (TRP), a building materials producer, reported a RON 19.6 million loss in 2024, reversing a RON 1.1 million profit in 2023, largely due to higher interest and amortization costs related to new manufacturing investments.
-Antibiotice Iași, a leading pharmaceutical producer, saw revenues rise by 8% to RON 693 million, with net profit surging 23% to RON 99 million compared to 2023.
-Winemaker Purcari recorded RON 382.4 million in revenues for 2024, up 3%, driven by a 13% expansion in the main wine segment. However, net profit declined 10% to RON 57.3 million.
-Hidroelectrica, the largest Bucharest Stock Exchange-listed company, posted a 35% decline in net profit to RON 4.1 billion, while revenues dropped 25% to RON 9.1 billion, reflecting sector-wide challenges.
