ECONOMY
-Romania’s general consolidated budget recorded a deficit of RON 30.24 billion in January-February 2025, representing 1.58% of the GDP. This compares to a deficit of RON 28.99 billion, or 1.64% of the GDP, during the same period in 2024, as reported by the Finance Ministry.
-A study by the National Trade Union Bloc (BNS) highlights that excessively high labor taxes, particularly on low wages, are driving a significant portion of the workforce into undeclared employment.
FINANCE
-Healthcare operator MedLife has authorized its Board of Directors to increase its syndicated loan by up to EUR 50 million, bringing the total to EUR 330 million.
-Evergent Investments: Evergent Investments proposes dividends with a 7.6% yield and plans to repurchase approximately 40 million shares for its stock option plan.
-Catalyst Romania Fund I: Catalyst Romania Fund I has exited its shareholding structure in avocatnet.ro.

Conpet Ploiesti: Nearly RON 60 million.
SIF Hoteluri: RON 6.97 million (shareholder vote pending).
Foraj Sonde Videle: RON 7.7 million, with a 5.1% yield.
Transgaz: RON 203.5 Million to shareholders on July 16th.
One United: RON 40 Million.
