15:49 Romania will continue its support for Moldova, President Klaus Iohannis said on Monday after meeting German Chancellour Olaf Scholz. The Romanian head of state added that the support is for carrying through budgetary and energy reforms.

15:10 President Klaus Iohannis stated on Monday (April 3) that the government rotation is possible and will happen, affirming there is no viable alternative to the governing coalition, Agerpres reported.

15:01 German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, who is in Bucharest on Monday (April 3) for trilateral talks with the presidents of Romania and Moldova, said in a joint press statement with President Klaus Iohannis that he supports Romania’s joining the Schengen Area this year.
