| Bucharest stocks closed in the green on Tuesday while European markets closed the session off trading mixed. Investors continued to weigh the global economic outlook following last week’s interest rate increases by the European Central Bank. In a short note on Romania, Austria’s banking group Erste said Romania’s central bank is likely to maintain its key rate at 7% at its February 9 board meeting, after a dovish hike of 25 basis points in January. |
