09:13 Romania’s President Klaus Iohannis will pay an official visit to Sofia, Bulgaria, at the invitation of his Bulgarian counterpart Rumen Radev to sign a joint statement on a strategic partnership between the two countries, according to the Romanian Presidential Administration.

CAPITAL MARKET COMMENTARY

Bucharest stocks closed lower on Wednesday in line with markets across Europe as Silicon Valley Bank’s (SVB) collapse caused a shockwave to the banking sector and major losses to that field’s entities, such as Credit Suisse Group AG. The Swiss lender’s shares tanked after the bank’s biggest investor Saudi National Bank, said it would not offer more financial help.
