CAPITAL MARKET COMMENTARY

Bucharest stocks closed mostly in the red on the first trading session of the week bucking the trend across Europe where major stock markets finished off with solid gains, as investors digested news of UBS’s takeover of Credit Suisse. The European Central Bank’s latest remarks seemingly eased a portion of concerns related to the issue. Nonetheless, uncertainty tied to the economic outlook still lingered.
