Southeast European stock markets experienced a predominantly downward trend in today’s trading, with key indices across the region registering declines. Here’s a summary of the day’s performance:


The Sarajevo Stock Exchange’s (SASE) 10-share benchmark SASX10 index was off 0.18% to close at 1.296,25 points.

The Banja Luka bourse (BLSE)’s 12-share BIRS equity index was down 0.67% to end at 927,47 points.


In Sofia, the main equity index SOFIX of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) comprising 15 key stocks was lower by 0.62% to close at 896.03 points.


In Zagreb, CROBEX index tracking 20 major stocks on the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) lost 0.64% to finish at 3,246.86 points.


In Nicosia, the general index of the Cyprus Stock Exchange (CSE) which follows 38 listed companies dropped 0.42% to end at 227.90 points.


In Greece, the Athens Exchange (ATHEX) general index which tracks 61 Big Cap companies declined 0.22% to close at 1,624.3400 points. Dimand SA lead blue-chip gainers as the real estate development and services provider’s shares jumped 2.41%.

In Podgorica, the MNSE10, the leading index of the Montenegro Stock Exchange (MNSE) which reflects the 10 most representative shares were off 0.42% to close at 1.203,96 points.


In Skopje, the blue-chip MBI 10 index representing 10 selected blue-chip stocks on the North Macedonian Stock Exchange (MSE) decreased by 0.91% to finish at 10,297.46 points.


In Romania, the BET index tracking the 20 most liquid stocks on the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) lost 0.91% to end at 10,297.46 points. Read more here.

The BELEX15 Index of the Belgrade Stock Exchange (BSE), covering the 15 largest and most liquid stocks decreased by 0.22% to close at 1.141,18 points. Today’s BSE market capitalisation stood at RSD 476.848.340.911 (EUR 4.072.595.025).


The Slovenian SBITOP index which which tracks the 9 most liquid stocks on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange was down 0.07% closing at 2,003.70 points.
