Every evening from Monday to Friday after market close (16:00 GMT) you will find below the closing prices of the major stock indices of Southeast Europe’s bourses.


The Sarajevo Stock Exchange’s (SASE) 10-share benchmark SASX10 index was down 1% finishing at 1.205,06 points.


The Banja Luka bourse (BLSE) the 12-share BIRS equity index rose 0.22% to end at 924,97 points.


In Sofia, the main equity index SOFIX of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) which has 15 constituents was unchanged.


In Zagreb, the 20-share CROBEX index of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) grew by 0.61% to finish at 3,365.43 points.


In Nicosia, the general index of the Cyprus Stock Exchange (CSE) which has 38 constituents advanced 0.37% to close at 225.31 points.


In Greece, the Athens Exchange (ATHEX) general index which tracks the performance of the shares of 61 companies that trade in the Big Cap segment rose 0.19% to finish at 1,493.11 points.


In Chisinau, the Moldova Stock Exchange is not trading today.


In Podgorica, the MNSE10, the leading index of the Montenegro Stock Exchange (MNSE) measuring the price movements of the 10 most representative shares was off 0.59% to end at 1.085,73 points.


In Skopje, the blue-chip MBI 10 index which consists of 10 listed ordinary shares chosen by the North Macedonian stock exchange (MSE) rose 0.30% to end at 10,452.71 points.


In Romania, the BET index which follows the evolution of 20 most liquid companies listed on Bucharest Stock Exchange’s (BVB) regulated market, increased by 0.54% ending at 17,069.80 points. Read more here.

The Belgrade Stock Exchange’s (BSE) BELEX15 index which comprises the 15 largest and most liquid stocks traded on the Serbian bourse fell 0.53% to finish at 1.137,52 points. The BSE decided to suspend trading in the shares of Serbian oil and gas company NIS until Jan. 28, 2025. The decision comes after the US Department of Treasury announced sanctions against NIS.


The Slovenian SBITOP index which tracks the performance of the 9 most liquid shares traded on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) grew by 1.57% to end at 1,730.16 points.
