Southeast European capital markets presented a mixed performance today, with moderate gains in Croatia, Cyprus, Montenegro, and Slovenia, while Bulgaria, North Macedonia, and Romania saw losses. Overall, market movements suggest regional stability with selective growth opportunities, as investors continue to navigate economic and geopolitical factors shaping the region.


The Sarajevo Stock Exchange’s (SASE) 10-share benchmark SASX10 index was up 0.25% to finish at 1.269,88 points.

In Sofia, the main equity index SOFIX of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) comprising 15 key stocks lost 1.11% settling at 892.61 points.


In Zagreb, CROBEX index tracking 20 major stocks on the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE), was higher by 0.16% to finish at 3,470.77 points.


In Nicosia, the general index of the Cyprus Stock Exchange (CSE) which follows 38 listed companies, ticked up 0.06 ending at 192.31 points.


In Greece, the Athens Exchange (ATHEX) general index which tracks 61 Big Cap companies, edged up 0.04% to close at 1,618.16 points.


In Chisinau, on Moldova Stock Exchange’s regulated market there were no transactions today.


In Podgorica, the MNSE10, the leading index of the Montenegro Stock Exchange (MNSE) which reflects the 10 most representative shares grew 0.06% to end at 1.221,82 points.


In Skopje, the blue-chip MBI 10 index representing 10 selected blue-chip stocks on the North Macedonian Stock Exchange (MSE), was off 0.18% to finish at 10,685.76 points.


In Romania, the BET index tracking the 20 most liquid stocks on the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) lost 1.14% closing at 10,685.76 points. Read more here.

The BELEX15 Index of the Belgrade Stock Exchange (BSE), covering the 15 largest and most liquid stocks, ticked down 0.01% ending at 1.127,02 points.


The Slovenian SBITOP index which which tracks the 9 most liquid stocks on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange, (LJSE) ticked up 0.01% to finish at 2,041.52 points.
