The financial sector performed slightly stronger, with the BET-FI climbing 0.26% to 73,912.51 points. Energy shares contributed to the upward tone, as the BET-NG advanced 0.38% to 1,527.14 points, marking the best sectoral performance of the day. The BET-EF, covering investment funds, gained 0.19%, closing at 1,132.29 points, while the BET-XT, which tracks the 25 most traded companies, inched up 0.18% to 1,791.26 points. The BET-BK index added 0.21% to 4,042.33 points. On the downside, the BETAeRO, reflecting the performance of AeRO market companies, slipped 0.04% to 952.47 points, the only index to post a decline. Meanwhile, the regional benchmark ROTX, calculated jointly with the Vienna Stock Exchange, rose 0.16% to 46,768.20 points. Overall, today’s trading session reflected a stable, mildly positive trend, supported mainly by energy and financial stocks, while small-cap shares on the AeRO market lagged behind. |
